Conquer of Energy

CONQUER OF ENERGY

Introduction:

In the future wars will be done not for territory or money but for energy sources.

Players: 2-4

Time to Complete: ???

Summary: Each player tries to capture a flag from other players and (tries to) defend his/her energy source (flag).

Set up: Each player defines a color for his/her (30) tokens.

All Soldier-Tokens look the same, a small soldier standing over a base. The base has the useful information.

Each Soldier-Token has three numbers under his feet (Attack/Defense/Move) except the flag that only has move number and a representation for its self.

The game begins:

Each player rolls 1D6. Player with the smaller score moves first continuing with right hand player.

Dices here mean energy.

Players start with 50 points of energy for defense and none for attack or move.

Player rolls 1D20 and charges of energy according to the result. Player decide to move/attack his/her soldiers according to the total amount of energy vs. the energy cost to move or attack

For instance if he/she rolls and the dice ends with a 12, means that 4 soldiers with 5/7/3 can move 3 spaces in the board or three soldiers with 5/7/3 can move and attach with a soldier 2/2/1 and reserve a point for defense that must be written in the defense blackboard.

In other words, a soldier with 5/7/3 means that he can moves three spaces in the board or can attack a neighbor opponent with his five points of damage (5/7/3).

If the player decides to attack a neighbor (adjacent space) he must declare which one of the enemy soldiers is been attacked and proceed to verify his attack vs. enemy’s defense points.

If your soldier has a 5/7/3 numbers and your enemy has 2/2/1 you win and enemy’s soldier is captured and retired from the game board.

If your soldier has a 5/7/3 numbers and your enemy has 2/7/1 you lost and your soldier is captured and retired from the game board.

If your soldier has a 5/7/3 numbers and your enemy has 2/5/1 you lost and your soldier is captured and retired from the game board.

These rules are applied except when the player wants to use his reserve defense energy and gives special energy to the soldier that is attacked.

The player also can decide to move his/her flag in order to try to escape.

Game ends:

Eventually, flag must be attacked for an enemy and automatically looses the game. The game ends when someone have all the enemy flags.
