Board Game Adaptation of Video Game Home Play from Lesson 4

Page history last edited by agj 12 years, 11 months ago

To cite the challenge, it was:

Do Challenge 4-1 in the text. It does not have to be an Activision/Blizzard game. It cannot be a game that already has a commercially-available board game adaptation. (Check BoardGameGeek if in doubt.)

GreenCircleDesign a board-game adaptation of any video game. Post your complete rule set on the forums. Include a list of all components necessary to play. This game should be playable without the player having to design anything!

BlueSquareAs above, and once you’ve finished your design, make a playable prototype of the core systems in under an hour. On the forum, give a complete list of materials used.

BlackDiamondAs above, and the video game in question must be an adaptation of an Atari 2600 title. And make it more fun than the original!

For those who wish, please add your game below.

Biplane, by Tom McKendree

Eagle Alight - A Lunar Lander inspired board game by DoctorMike

ET the Extra Terrestrial (Black) by Carl de Visser

Mr. Driller (Blue) by Alejandro Grilli J.
