Rockskippers by Dustin Cruz
A few friends decide on having a rock skipping competition by making a lap around the pond and only taking one step for each skip they make, last one home does the dishes.
Requirements
Paper, pencils, coins, Player representation (thumbtack, dice, wadded up paper, anything)
Setup
Draw a pond wil 4 rings that move out from the center, label each ring 2,3,4,5 with 5 being the center most ring. Draw a path around the pond with however many spaces you want. Put some starts in a few spaces. Mark one space as the home space.
Rules
Players place their piece on the home space (you can draw a little house on it or color it a different color if you want, just to show where it is.) Players then take turns moving around the board by putting the coin in the center ring (5) and spinning the coin by flicking it. Which ever ring the coin mostly lands in is the number of spaces that player gets to move.
If a coin lands outside the pond, the player does not get to move any spaces and that turn is over.
If a player is skipping from a starred space then he/she has found a perfectly shaped rock and the skip count is doubled. (5 = 10, 3 = 6, etc.)
If a coin hits a player around the pond, the hit player must go back 3 spaces.
Winning
The first player home wins, the rest get to do the dishes!
