QWERTY-madness

Page history last edited by ShadowXX 14 years, 10 months ago

Hi, name's Shad. I'm from Latvia, so, english isn't my home language, but i'll try to explain my idea of a board game called - ,,QWERTY-madness,,.

Board:

Players: 2-4

Materials: A board that looks just like that keyboard, 1 dice, and 1 figure for each player.

Objective: Get to the ,,End,, button (that is in the lower right corner) from the ,,Start,, button. (that located in the top right corner)

Game play:

1) First, each player roll a dice. That who got the biggest number goes first.

2) From the ,,Start,, button players need to go left. The Row changes it's direction on the each last button in the row.

3) Special buttons activetes only when the player is on them.

4) Who got to the ,,End,, first - wins. Other losses.

Helps and Traps: It's obviosly that it's interesting to play when something trying to block your way. That's way i put some + and - into the game.

1) ,,Esc,, buttons - orders you to go to the start and continue playing from the beginning.

2) Buttons 3, 6, 9 - gives you a +1 button bust.

3) ,, -,, button - orders you to go -1 button.

4) ,, +,, button - orders to go +3 buttons.

5) ,,Enter,, key - is the biggest bust in the game but you  have only 17% to get it. It allows you to pass 2 rows.

6) All letters buttons makes a quiz-zone. If player steps on a letter, his opponent gives him a question. The letter player standing on supposed to be the first letter of the answer word (the answer need to be only in 1 word). If player answers correctly he gets a bust +1 button,if not he gets a -1. If he steps on another Letter, he won't get a question.

7) ,,Tab,, button - makes you go to the start of ,,Quiz-zone,,. That means you go to ,,P,, button but won't get a question.

8) ,,Shifts,, and ,,Up arrow,, - Makes you go on 1 row. Up arrow makes you step on the ,,Enter,,, but you won't get help. You'll continue playing on the fourth row (if counting from up).

9) ,,<,, - makes you go to ,,Z,, letter,,

10) ,,>,, - makes you go to ,,Divide,, button. (Its next to ,,Up arrow,,)

11) ,,Hands,, - makes you loss a turn.

12) ,,Left arrow,, 0 makes you go to the beginnig of the row.

13) ,,END,, - YOU WIN!!!! ^_^

mmm, the use a keyboard as the gameboard is so interesting.
Although the use of color is not really clear for me. So I must print the rules too.
I will print it and try it out with my wife.

Thank you for the comment! ^^
I hope you'll both have fun.
And your right - the colors doesn't mean a thing, it's just for marking the zone.
