Pattycake Panic
15 Minute Board Game
by SilentEllipsis
Players: 4 (2 teams of 2)
Objective: Reach the Pattycake Funhouse first
Equipment: A piece of paper upon which is drawn 8 squares in a line (the board); two tasty-looking strawberries, one of which has whipped cream on it (the pieces); two cakes or cream pies.
Gameplay: The game takes place in rounds - at the start of each round, each team tries to complete a game of Pattycake faster than the other team. The first team to complete pattycake without making any mistakes can move forward one space that round. Move the strawberry up to indicate this progress.
In addition, any player can, at any time, throw any cake or pie in the immediate vicinity of the board at the other team. If the cake/pie hits a player, that player's team's strawberry moves back one square.
The first team to reach the end wins, and eats both strawberries (this is required to complete the game - failure to eat the strawberries results in a tie).
That is all.

One addition - one strawberry should have whipped cream on it to distinguish it from the other strawberry.

Wow. My only concern is can you throw the pie from anywhere? If so people could just get up close and slam it.... There should be a distance required for pie throwing. We need to get pies and test at what distance it becomes slightly difficult to launch pies!

Good point! This design feature needs to be balanced...by SCIENCE!
